Registration Phases
1st Phase (July 1, 2009- July 31, 2009) At this point, we will need the most basic information about your institution and debaters. This stage requires each institution to disclose the number of teams and adjudicators that they will be sending. Contact details will also be required. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Institutions that will register after the 80th slot will be put on the waiting list. In the event that institutions that were able to register earlier are unable to pay, their slots will be given to institutions on the waiting list, also according to first come, first served basis. Registration will be done online via the ASDC website: www.asdc2009.com When slots have been confirmed institutions that have completed this stage and are part of the tournament cap may move on to the 2nd phase. 2nd Phase (July 15, 2009- July 31, 2009) The second stage requires that down payment be made for confirmation of slots. The down payment will be set at USD 200 (P 10,000). This payment is non-refundable should any of the institutions and/or participants back out of the tournament. We would also be asking you to fill up a registration form which is downloadable in the ASDC website. This is to acquire the necessary information, such as dietary requirements, names and travel details. If you wish to avail of the early bird discount, don’t forget to pay your registration in full on or before July 31, 2009. Payments may be done via three (3) methods: |

Failure to pay during this time period will result to the forfeiture of your slot in ASDC. Your slot will be offered to the next institution on the waiting list. Expenses that will be incurred through wire or bank transfers will not be shouldered by the De La Salle Debate Society.
3rd Phase (July 15, 2009- August 21, 2009)
The third stage will require the full payment of your account. Same process with the 2nd phase will apply in depositing your money. Failure to pay the registration fee in full during the allotted time period will forfeit your slot in ASDC, and will be given to the next institution on the waiting list. Take note that your down payment is non-refundable.
