September 4,2009 Announcement

This is to inform all the participants in the upcoming Asian Schools Debate Championship that the following attires should be observed for the following events:

Opening Dinner : National Costume
Championship Dinner: Formal

For attires during the tournament, De La Salle University implements a dress code policy that needs to be strictly observed. For information on what is allowed and what is not allowed, please refer to the following links below:

Hi there!

A number of schools have already finished the 2nd phase of registration some of which availed of the early registration discount. We are also glad to announce that the team cap has already been reached. For those who haven't started the 2nd phase of registration yet, please do so to ensure your slots in the tournament. For those who are interested in ASDC's Adjudication core, details can already be seen in the website in the Adjudication Core section. If you have any queries don't hesitate to contact us. We are very pleased to announce the teams who have registered for the first Asian Schools Debate Championship. The institutions in the list can now proceed with the 2nd Phase of Registration; the process of how to go about it can be seen in the registration section in the website. To the Asian Debate Community:

I am very pleased to inform you that a lot of teams from various countries have already registered for the first Asian Schools Debate Championship. Among the countries that have registered are Thailand , Bangladesh , Indonesia , Philippines , and Pakistan. For those who have yet to register, registration might close at an earlier date given that we can only accommodate so much. Thank you very much and we hope to see you in Manila !

July 6,2009 About ASDC

Finally mastering the intricacies of tournament hosting in the local high school level, the De La Salle Debate Society is now widening its horizons, seeking to host an international tournament open to all high schools in the Asian region.

The ASDC is projected to join together an approximated 300 of the most brilliant debaters, public speakers, and adjudicators in Asia.

Brilliant? Not quite. Try prestigious and outstanding - maybe these words would fit the quality of this tournament.
